The pink lemonade-flavored vodka was inspired by an original drink creation from Ryan Whitney, former NHL player and host of the Barstool Sports podcast, Spittin’ Chiclets. The drink went viral in October 2018 after Whitney shared his favorite way to drink New Amsterdam Vodka (with pink lemonade) on episode 112 of the podcast, resulting in hundreds of posts from enthusiastic fans who organically coined the term ‘Pink Whitney.’ The bottle features disruptive, attention-grabbing iconography and will be available in-market starting September 2019.
